Hearts of the West December 2015

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team
 blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my Heart
Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West team was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is the Kaleidoscope paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked by Nancy Klein.
If you came from Valerie Kapsha's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.
This month I created a few cards for my daughter to give as thank you cards for kind people at her school.
For this card the jar was made on a piece of transparency film using black Memento ink but the transparency didn't like the ink so I traced the image using a sharpie pen.  I trimmed the transparency but accidentally smeared some ink on the card. In person this card is very cool because the jar is shiny.

These next two cards were also made for my daughter since she had so many people to thank.
This final card I made also using the Kaleidoscope paper pack.  It was made specifically for my new CTMH Downline who just reached level 2 of Straight to the Top! I am so impressed with her!

For this month's blog hop I decided to create a scrapbooking layout.  My daughter has already grown up and moved out, but we just got our order of photos. I am so glad that the moment was captured and that it is already in my scrapbook!

I used the Sangia WOTG kit and Sangria Complements to create this layout. I was impressed how fast the layout came together since lately I have mainly done cards and mini albums. Grateful to have that moment in time preserved!

September's Nevermore HWBH

Welcome to the

Hearts of the West Team Blog Hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West team was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Nevermore paper pack, brought to you by the new brand new Annual Inspirations, hand picked from Nancy Klein.

If you came from Kim Loewen's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I made a card for this Blog Hop using my newest Halloween stamp set, Little Monsters, that is now available!  My favorite in the stamp set is the adorable little witch but I think all the stamps in this set are cute!

I colored the images using ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ markers then added a drop of Liquid Glass to the eyes. I like that even in the photo you can see on the witch's hat, the spider's eyes since he was colored completely black!

I used the Nevermore Compliments for the frame and the spiders on this card.  I used Just to Say from the Cricut® Artfully Sent Collection  to stamp the sentiment on the  frame.

After the card was finished, I decided to add more Liquid Glass to the sentiment:

Aug. Jackson HWBH

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it! It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West team was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is the Jackson paper pack, brought to you by the Annual Inspirations, and was hand picked by Nancy Klein.

This card was made special for a local man who deserves a big thanks and Jackson was the perfect paper pack for a guy's thank you card.  I used the Jackson Complements to embellish the card. The stamp set used is the fun Stamp of the Month! And the markers used to colour the stamps were Peacock Green and Mahogany.  I love that CTMH makes it so fun and easy to create a quick card.

It's also the paper pack and stamp set used to make this past Father's Day cards.....

Hopefully you will also have a chance to create with the Jackson papers and the SOTM.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

My mom is amazing! I am so glad there is a day specially made to celebrate her. I also love CTMH which makes it so fun and easy to make her a card.

My friend, Rondi, said I could also share her Mother's Day card. She says that it was kind of fun to stamp these ladies.
