Jan. 2020 Craft With Heart Card Kit

I received the brand new  Craft With Heart Card Subscription Kit in the  mail this week! I have created all 24 cards included in this kit. The kit included all the needed envelopes in both pink and blue.

I made 2 of each of these cards:
(4.25 X 5.5)

As you can tell, these 2 are the same card with different sentiments on each.  Both sentiments are from the exclusive stamp set that was included in the kit.
(4.25 X 5.5)

Theses adorable cards are both  3 X 4 with cute little envelopes just the right size for them.
These  3 cards are a mixture of a 4.25 X 5.5 Shaker Card, a        4.25 X 5.5 Thank You card and a 3 x 4 card.  I made 2 of each.  I love the Silver Star Confetti that was included in the kit! The top card used a Thank you sentiment found in a Stamp of the Month from February 2018 and it fit perfectly on the die cut circle. The pink card is 3 X 4 and has a scallop cut in the bottom of the front.

 This cards is 4.25 X 5.5.
I seriously love this stamp set!

These cards are 4.25 X 5.5.  The You Take The Cake card used  Silver Star Confetti and was  fun to put together.  The floral card has a matching card that has a sentiment from the stamp set: to the Best Mother, perfect for Mothers  Day.

Both these cards are 3 X 4.
The Heart shaped shaker was the hardest part of the kit . I first glued the black heart die cut to the included acetate window then trimmed it out.  The  circular foam was shaped around the heart frame then laid over the confetti. The  Happy Birthday To You sentiment is from the previous kit subscription.

The best thing about receiving the Craft With Heart Card Subscription is that it is a Cut Above card kit!  So quick and easy to put the cards together. 24 Cards!

Hearts of the West June Blog Hop - No Worries

This Blog Hop features Close to my Heart Consultants showing you their projects. This month's challenge is to use the  No Worries paper pack found in the new  Seasonal Expressions 2.

If you came from Corinna Murphy's Blog, then you are on the right track. This is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere and hop along until you get back to where you started!

I have recently become a huge fan of SVG Cuts so I used No Worries papers to create this camera that doubles as a gift container!

May was my anniversary and happily the No Worries paper pack had the perfect pages to create a card to my husband.

May 2017 HWBH

This Blog Hop features Close to my Heart Consultants showing you their projects. This months challenge is to use the Live Beautifully paper pack available only during May 2017!

If you came from Nancy Klein's Blog, then you are on the right track. This is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere.  Just in case, the full list of participants is at the bottom of this post.

May is the month of Mothers Day, so I used the Live Beautifully papers to create a card.

I created this card as a side folding A2 card.  I used a page from the Live Beautifully paper pack and the Live Beautifully stamp set to create the beautiful flowers on this card.  The gold glitter pen colored the white part of the flowers. (The picture shows it a little bit but in person it looks great!) I used the True Love Operation Smile stamp to create the adorable girl and the heart.  I used the (now retired) Hello Lovely Cardmaking bundle to create the banner for the card. I cut it from center of the card mat and covered the hole with the pink side of the paper.
Then the whole card front was attached to a Sea Glass card base and the card was done!

March was such a busy month that I only got a photo of one of the cards I made.
I used the  Some Kind of Wonderful papers with one of the zip strips for the bottom.  These adorable characters  were made with the Some Kind of Wonderful Cardmaking Thin Cuts BundleJust a white twine bow and the side and the card was that quickly done!  I love how Close to My Heart makes cards and layouts so easy with the right tools and supplies!

March - Sugar Rush HWBH

This Blog Hop features Canadian Close to My Heart Consultants showing you their projects. This months challenge is to use the Dreamin' Big paper pack found in the Seasonal Expressions 1!
If you came from Corinna Murphy's Blog, then you are on the right track. This is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere.  Just in case, the full list of participants is at the bottom of this post.

When I first saw this paper pack in the Seasonal Expressions 1, I knew I wanted to create a mini album with it.  I am not a fan of the bug side of paper but happily the opposite side has flowers!

The Front Cover

Inside the Front Cover

The next page has a lift flap!  Under the flap and the opposite page were both stamped with the Dreamin' Big card making stamp set.

This layout used the scraps and zip strips plus the the Dreamin' Big Compliments.

These pocket pages can hold cards and any size picture up to 5x7

Inside the back cover, these pocket pages can also both hold any size up to 5X7! I used the Dreamin' Big compliments to embellish the page and to hide the magnet on the blue pocket.

*Confession time- When I started this album it was supposed to be an 8x8 album with a binding system of attaching the pages to each other.  Unfortunately I couldn't get the pages together evenly.  So I shrunk the album to 6X8 so I could reuse some pages.  Then (I was really having issues) when I punched the pages with my bind-it-all, I accidentally punched the wrong side of the back cover.  I fixed that issue with some white glimmer tape to hide the extra holes then repeated the tape on the front cover to match. I love how it turned out!
