May 2017 HWBH

This Blog Hop features Close to my Heart Consultants showing you their projects. This months challenge is to use the Live Beautifully paper pack available only during May 2017!

If you came from Nancy Klein's Blog, then you are on the right track. This is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere.  Just in case, the full list of participants is at the bottom of this post.

May is the month of Mothers Day, so I used the Live Beautifully papers to create a card.

I created this card as a side folding A2 card.  I used a page from the Live Beautifully paper pack and the Live Beautifully stamp set to create the beautiful flowers on this card.  The gold glitter pen colored the white part of the flowers. (The picture shows it a little bit but in person it looks great!) I used the True Love Operation Smile stamp to create the adorable girl and the heart.  I used the (now retired) Hello Lovely Cardmaking bundle to create the banner for the card. I cut it from center of the card mat and covered the hole with the pink side of the paper.
Then the whole card front was attached to a Sea Glass card base and the card was done!

January - Sugar Rush HWBH

This Blog Hop features Close to My Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. This months challenge is the brand new Sugar Rush paper pack found in the brand new Seasonal Expressions 1!
Happy New Year!

If you came from Corinna Murphy's Blog, then you are on the right track. This is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere.  Just in case, the full list of participants is at the bottom of this post.
So as always, grab you beverage of choice and hop around the country with us.

I created this card using the Workshop Your Way Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit.  I also used the Sugar Rush Cardmaking Thin Cuts Bundle to stamp the sentiments and diecut the doughnuts.  I love how easy this card came together with great papers, stamps and dies. I am loving this new Seasonal Expressions!  The papers are so much better in person than they look in the catalog.

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Scaredy Cat paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked from Nancy Klein.
If you came from Jackie Vandaele's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.
I am excited to be back blogging for this Blog Hop!  Halloween is so close and because of this challenge I now have cards ready to send to my Mom, my best friend and one for my only dayhome kid.  And the cards are ready in time to mail!

I used the Scaredy Cat Bulk B&T Paper to make each card:

I used stamp set Halloween Greetings (D1605)  to make this card. I used the Creative Insider guide for Scaredy Cat as inspiration, so this card came together very quickly and yet it is the one card that is the favorite among those people I have shown my cards to!

For this card I used Frightfully Fun (B1453) to create the 4 adorable characters on the front.  The fussy cut Frankenstein on the bottom used Trick or Treat Sweets  (B1460) because the Skull in Frightfully Fun looked funny to me on this card, so the Skull got used on the next card.....

This last card uses Trick or Treat Sweets (B1460) plus the Skull from the previous card.  I used my new CTMH ShinHan markers to color in the characters on this card and the Frightfully Fun images too. These markers made the stamped images become Characters! It was coloring the images that made me realize that the Mummy image was actually a cute Ninja!

Your next stop is Linda Pekrul.

Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month to see what crafty projects we can bring to you! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.
